The reality is that right now, existing feels especially hard, tense, and exhausting. I can’t pretend that isn’t our starting point. Collectively, we’re probably just trying to find something to hold onto, ya know?
Here are some sources of good news to balance the hard I know you’re holding on your plate, too.
Good Good Good: Started by a mental health advocate, Branden Harvey, Good Good Good is a newsletter and a physical newspaper that can land at your doorstep four times per year.
Calm News: Author Glennon Doyle’s podcast, We Can Do Hard Things, released a subpod called “Calm News” hosted by journalist Jessica Yellin. The pod episode walks you through the two most important news stories of the week and what you can do about them, but more importantly, it prioritizes your nervous system and sanity.
Good News Network: You guessed it, the Good News Network offers you a bunch of daily good news articles so that your doomscrolling turns into joy scrolling.
My extras: These aren’t directly good news-related, but they are good news when they hit my content queue.
